Privacy Notice

This privacy notice applies to konsent.one. It is an own provisional version and will be updated if the technical setup or services change. In case of doubt, the German version is authoritative.

1. At a Glance

konsent.one is a static website. It does not provide user accounts, comments, contact forms or a shop.

We do not use analytics cookies, browser-based tracking or client-side analytics JavaScript on konsent.one. Fonts are served locally. External services are contacted only when you follow an external link or submit the newsletter form.

3. Hosting and Server Logs

This website is provided as a static site via Netlify. Provider: Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105-2239, USA.

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technical access data in server logs. This may include IP address, date and time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, referrer URL, browser and operating system.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and efficient provision of the website.

Where personal data is transferred to the USA, this is based on suitable safeguards, in particular EU Standard Contractual Clauses where required. More information: netlify.com/privacy.

4. Domain Management and Email Services

The domain konsent.one and the email mailboxes are managed via IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The website itself is hosted exclusively via Netlify.

In connection with domain management and technical email operation, IONOS processes data as required for operation, security, delivery and administration. If you contact us by email, this may include your email address, technical transmission data and the content of your message being processed through IONOS infrastructure.

5. Cookies, Tracking and Local Fonts

konsent.one itself does not set cookies and does not use client-side analytics or tracking services. There is no cross-device recognition.

The fonts used on this website are served locally. No connection to Google Fonts or other external font servers is established for font delivery.

6. External Links

This website links to other services, including Konsent network websites, social media profiles, DOI/figshare pages, Zenodo and konsent.cloud. When you follow an external link, the privacy rules of the respective provider apply.

7. Contact by Email or Phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide to respond to your request and possible follow-up questions. The technical provision of the email mailboxes is described in section 4. Depending on the content of the request, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Newsletter

You can subscribe to the German-language konsent.berlin newsletter in the footer. Your email address is required for this. The subscription is processed via CleverReach.

Provider: CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany.

The form does not load an external CleverReach script on konsent.one. Only when you submit the form are the entered data sent to CleverReach. Subscription uses double opt-in: you receive an email in which you must confirm the subscription.

In addition to your email address, technical proof data may be processed, in particular the time of subscription, the time of confirmation and the IP address. These data are used to document consent and prevent abuse.

The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

After unsubscribing, your email address is removed from the mailing list unless statutory retention duties or legitimate interests apply. To prevent further mailings, your email address may be stored in a suppression list.

9. Your Rights

Within the limits of applicable law, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain processing. If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

10. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address beginning with “https://”.

11. Status and Updates

This privacy notice will be updated if the website, technical operation or legal requirements change.
